as you know, we’re in process of maintenance upgrade, and following stuff is left to do:

1. Fully restoration of userblog content. We made progress in this field, part of blogs were restored.
2. Ensuring greater DB scalability. This one is tough ;)

- About second issue; this part is most tricky, we’re doing our best to ensure clustered DB setup, so Blogvis.com might run in years ahead with lower maintenance costs. Because of complex configuration, you might experience small downtime from time to time, but individual issue should not last more than few minutes. So, in case you notice your blog offline, wait for few minutes then try to access again.
Whole process should be finished by end of this week.

3. Original pre-upgrade plugins were restored, if you experience any problems with plugins, make sure you activated them, or that you use them in proper way.

4. You might notice few extra blogs (test, etc) that we use, but those are used as testing subjects, and will be shut down in matter of week.

Don’t worry, your blogs are still live, and content can be and will be restored. since we made schedule for re-importing content in this time frame for first round.

There are still ongoing glitches, and small issues, but should be resolved in matter of week time.

Dear Blogvis.com users;

we have finished our update, newest WP version is setup.
Due to upgrade and lot of spam, blog contents were discarded. Aswell as blog accounts.

But, no need for panic.
Feel free to register your blog again, and let us know by sending mail you used and blog domain name to:
blogvis.com (at) gmail.com (changing (at) to @ ;-) )

In time period of 14 days we will be migrating content, so let us know asap if you need it asap ;-)

New templates are added, more are coming, along with many interesting plugins we prepared for you.

your favourite Wordpress blogging service is in middle of upgrade.

We’ve switched to newest WP avaliable, 2.6.5, and will add dozens of new themes and plugins in following few days.

Besides, now you have 75 megs of storage for your blogs.

Downside of this is that we had to purge blog database.
But, don’t panic!

All of your blogs and content will be restored upon demand with authorization via mail. More on this in followup announcement.
